Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctor of Nursing practice (DNP) from an accredited school.
• APRN State of Florida Licensure - active and in good standing.
• Certification by ANCC/AANP/PNCB - active and in good standing.
• AHA PALS - active and in good standing.
• AHA BLS - active and in good standing.
• Level II Background Check - fingerprinting.
• Credentialing by NCH Medical Administration required.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive and problem-focused H&P examinations.
• Initiates emergency resuscitation and stabilization as necessary.
• Orders and interprets labs and imaging with supervising physicians.
• Performs procedures within scope of practice.
• Precepts APPs and students.
• Documents care accurately in EMR and records.
