Connecticut Children’s is seeking a Pediatric Epileptologist to deliver comprehensive care for infants to adolescents with epilepsy within an integrated academic model. The role includes ambulatory care, EMU coverage, and epilepsy surgery evaluations, with a portion of time spent as a general Pediatric Neurologist in ambulatory and inpatient settings.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Pediatric Neurology Residency completed.
• Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship completed.

Responsabilités

• Assess and manage pediatric patients with epilepsy and related disorders.
• Interpret routine, ambulatory, and long-term video EEG monitoring.
• Direct Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including antiseizure meds, diet therapies, neuromodulation, and epilepsy surgery referrals.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records and participate in multidisciplinary conferences.
