Job summary

The Division of Neurology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California seek a neurologist with epilepsy training as a full‑time Clinician Educator. The ideal candidate will manage complex epilepsy, EEG interpretation, surgical epilepsy, and dietary therapies, with base at CHLA ambulatory sites.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pediatric epileptologists with experience in epilepsy management and pediatric neurology.
• Experience in epilepsy surgery programs including ECoG, and implanted grids/strips.
• Proficiency in EEG interpretation for inpatient and outpatient studies.
• Familiarity with ketogenic diet therapy and neuromodulation therapies (VNS/RNS).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in a high-volume pediatric epilepsy center.
• Lead and participate in epilepsy surgery programs and research.
• Teach residents, fellows, and medical students; participate in clinical education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across CHLA and USC to advance patient care.
