Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking an Entry Clinical Science Professional (part-time) to serve as a study coordinator for pediatric endocrinology research on obesity and type 2 diabetes risk in underserved youth. The role involves consent, recruitment, visits, sample handling, and coordinating with multiple sites.

The position requires collaboration with physicians, midlevel providers, and coordinators, with travel within Colorado and occasional NIH meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in any field.
• Substitution: education/experience may be substituted for degree on a year-for-year basis.
• Preferred: degree in science or health-related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of clinical trials and studies.
• Participate in subject recruitment efforts and educate potential subjects.
• Obtain subject medical history, review criteria, and confirm eligibility.
• Conduct informed consent processes and proper documentation.
• Schedule participant visits and coordinate research support services.
• Collect, code, and analyze data accurately and timely.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and study records.
