Qualifications
- MD or DO required.
- Board certified/eligible in pediatric endocrinology.
- Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with pediatric endocrine conditions.
- Develop and implement clinical pathways for standardized pediatric care.
- Contribute to cost-effective, high-quality patient care improvements.
- Accept referrals from other physicians and provide consults for hospitalized patients.
- Participate in academic programs and rounds with residents.
- Ensure documentation meets insurance requirements and appeal denials when needed.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations, including on-call duties.
