The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, is recruiting a Pediatric Endocrinology physician. The candidate must have an MD or equivalent, be board certified or eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology, and able to obtain an unrestricted PA license. H1B visa sponsorship is available.
Opportunity Details
- Primary clinical position with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Assist in building and expanding our practice, supported by nurses and certified diabetes educators
- Manage a busy inpatient and consult service, and participate in an active Fellowship program with 3 fellows per year
- The division has a longstanding tradition of excellence and a strong ambulatory practice, serving as a major referral center for Western Pennsylvania, Northeastern Ohio, and northern West Virginia
- The staff includes 17 physicians, 12 advanced practice providers, 17 diabetes educators, 4 dietitians, 2 social workers, a psychologist, and 9 endocrine nurses. The division operates across multiple locations in Western Pennsylvania and is poised for growth to serve all children effectively
- Both the Division of Endocrinology and UPMC Children's Hospital are consistently ranked in the Top 10 on U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Children's Hospitals," currently ranked #6 for 2022-23
