Job summary

Rochester Regional Health's Pediatric Emergency Department in Rochester, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse I to join our fast-paced team. This 36-hour-per-week weekend schedule offers opportunities to deliver high-quality, family-centered care to infants through age 21 in a 12-bed unit.

The RN will perform assessments, document plans of care, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, maintain BLS certification, and participate in research activities such as CRU submissions.

Qualifications

• AS: Nursing (Required).
• BLS certification expected.
• RN license in New York State required.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality, patient-centered, clinical care.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient, documenting data.
• Communicates assessment findings to the interdisciplinary team and updates the plan of care.
• Completes at least one CRU form for Nursing Research Department.
