Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician for the Belpre Emergency Department, a 501(c)(3) site eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

The selected candidate will provide family-centered care for acutely ill or injured children, in a 24/7 department that colleagues with the Akron campus trauma center and pediatric transport team. Generous benefits and relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.
• Ability to obtain an active Ohio medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered emergency care for pediatric patients in the Belpre ED.
• Operate in a 24/7 ED serving ~4,500 pediatric visits annually.
• Collaborate with Akron campus trauma center and pediatric transport team.
