Akron Children's Hospital seeks a pediatric emergency medicine physician to deliver family-centered care in the Beeghly Emergency Department. The role engages with a high-volume, 35,000 square foot ED featuring 23 treatment rooms and close collaboration with the Akron campus’ level 1 trauma center.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required with board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications required.
• Ability to obtain an active Ohio medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized family-centered care for acutely ill/injured infants, children and teens in Beeghly Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with Akron Children's Hospital and its level 1 trauma center network.
• Deliver care in a modern 35,000 square foot ED with 23 treatment rooms.
• Contribute to an institution recognized for pediatric care excellence.
