Job summary

Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Emergency Department on a full-time night shift. You will provide specialized emergency care to infants, children, and adolescents and collaborate with pediatric specialists to coordinate rapid, family-centered treatment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of clinical experience and at least 1 year in emergency nursing, hold an RN license with BLS and ACLS, and be prepared to complete TNCC, NRP, and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of clinical experience required.
• 1 year emergency nursing experience required.
• Active RN license; BLS and ACLS required; TNCC, NRP, ENPC required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to pediatric patients.
• Administer medications per policy.
• Educate families on diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with pediatric specialists and care teams.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services.
• Serve as a patient and family advocate.
• Use nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services and staff.
