We are seeking a pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) physician to join our team full-time to support our two dedicated pediatric emergency departments (ED) within the AdventHealth system in Orlando, Florida. AdventHealth for Children campus is located downtown Orlando within our main tertiary care center.

Opportunity Overview

• Annual pediatric emergency patients: 25,000
• Admit rate: 12-15%
• 16 ED beds
• Physician coverage: 24 hours (8-hour shifts)
• APC coverage
• EMR: EPIC
• Free Scribe coverage for physicians
• All specialties are represented: 24/7 PEDS ICU and hospitalist
• Teaching opportunities available for EM, pediatric, and family practice residents assigned to shifts
• Must be board certified EM with PEM fellowship or dual boarded EM and PEM
