We ask that candidates be board certified in pediatrics (PEM fellow not required for this role). If you have excellent communication skills, advanced problem-solving skills, and outstanding presentation skills, you make a great fit for the role. The ability to work in a team environment is a must. El Paso Children's Hospital is staffed by board-certified pediatric emergency medicine doctors, nurses, and specialists trained in children's emergency medicine. Over 75 top-ranked pediatric specialists are available for consult. There are 24/7 respiratory therapists and dedicated clinical pharmacists as well. El Paso Children's Hospital has the full spectrum of pediatric specialties including pediatric imaging, pediatric inpatient and outpatient infusion, pediatric intensive care unit, pediatric operating rooms, pediatric critical care transport team, and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit.
