Job summary

Children's of Alabama in the Main Campus Emergency Department seeks a part-time patient communication and clerical support role. The position operates on the Day Shift, 7a-3p, Monday through Friday with varying days and every other weekend.

Under supervision of RNs and LPN staff, you will help facilitate communication among patients, team members and visitors and support clerical operations on the unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year staff-level administrative/clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with nursing unit communications and coordination.
• Facilitate communication for patients, staff and visitors.
