Job summary
UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Heart Center at Children’s Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for pediatric electrophysiology. The APP will work with cardiologists, surgeons, and staff across inpatient and ambulatory settings, delivering high-quality, family-centered care.
New graduate rate is $130,000; the role requires strong EP experience, licensure in Texas, and advanced life support certifications.
Qualifications
- Fulfills education and licensure requirements for Advanced Practice Providers.
- ARC-PA accredited PA program graduate or Master's in Nursing with clinical practice eligibility.
- Texas BON prescriptive authority or PA licensure required at hire.
Responsibilities
- Diagnoses and treats critically ill patients; develops and manages treatment plans.
- Performs advanced procedures and documents initial and ongoing examinations by age and diagnosis.
- Orders, interprets labs and imaging; participates in care planning and quality initiatives.
- Collaborates with cardiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff to optimize patient care.
- Engages in research protocols and applies evidence-based practices.
