Job summary

Children's Dental Health is seeking a passionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.

As an EFDA, you'll assist the dentist in a variety of procedures, take and develop dental X-rays, manage patient records, and educate patients on oral hygiene. We foster a friendly, empathetic environment to make visits comfortable for children and families.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an EFDA.
• Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting.
• Radiology certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
• Perform expanded functions, including restorations, extractions, and root canals.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
• Provide excellent customer service and patient care.
