PSCFL is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager of Critical Care in Florida. The role provides clinical leadership, coordinates patient care, and guides staff through evidence-based practices to improve outcomes.

It reports to the Nursing Manager/Director and collaborates across disciplines to support hospital goals. The position emphasizes staff development, patient safety, and efficient workflow, with accountability for throughput and quality measures in a high-acuity Pediatric Emergency

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and monitor patient flow and ensure timely admission/transfer/discharge.
• Mentor staff and improve performance and clinical outcomes.
• Work with Operations and Nursing Staff Office to meet hospital needs.
• Promote cost containment and maintain appropriate supplies and par levels.
• Participate in nursing governance and unit committees.
• Lead rounds and care planning with multidisciplinary teams.
• Communicate patient progress and updates to families and physicians.
• Ensure education about disease processes and document in EHR.
• Oversee delivery of patient care using nursing process.
