Be part of a designated Center of Excellence by the Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ELSO)
Work in a high-volume program that supports ~30 pediatric ECMO patients annually
Perform life-saving procedures using advanced ECMO bypass systems during critical interventions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatric ICU team during rapid response and planned interventions
Receive mentorship and ongoing ECMO education in a nationally recognized children’s facility

Deliver expert care using ECMO technology for critically ill pediatric patients
Collaborate with physicians, perfusionists, and critical care teams in real-time during emergent cases
Ensure accurate monitoring, documentation, and response to ECMO status
Support pre-ECMO prep, on-circuit care, and weaning protocols
Participate in ongoing training, simulations, and process improvements
Help drive exceptional outcomes through evidence-based pediatric critical care
RN license in the state of Texas (or compact eligibility)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience in pediatric ICU, CVICU, or ECMO preferred
Strong clinical judgment, calm under pressure, and excellent communication skills
