Job summary

Pride Health is seeking an Echocardiography Technician to join the Non-Invasive Cardiology team in Flushing, NY. You will perform echocardiograms, operate and maintain equipment, and support physicians during procedures while delivering compassionate patient care.

The role is a 21-week contract, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 37.5 hours per week, with a local pay range of $64–$68 per hour. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and patient-centered care within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Approved echocardiography training program completed.
• Minimum 2+ years as Echocardiography Technician I.
• ICAEL-recognized certification eligible.
• Basic clerical skills and ~25 WPM typing.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain echocardiography equipment and supplies.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and ensure sterile technique.
• Document completed studies and maintain department logs.
• Communicate findings to physicians and staff.
