Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist – Echo Tech to support pediatric echocardiography in Boston, MA on a 22-week travel assignment. Guar anteed hours and a hospital-based setting offer exposure to ED/NICU coverage.

The role requires ARDMS RDCS-PE and BLS certifications with 2+ years of pediatric echo experience; you will work in outpatient imaging and cross-cover inpatient units, using EPIC Hyperspace Cadence Scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active ARDMS RDCS-PE certification.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years of pediatric echocardiography experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced pediatric imaging setting.
• Experience with pediatric echocardiography and EPIC Cadence Scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiography studies, including transthoracic echocardiograms and fetal echocardiography when applicable.
• Work independently in the outpatient pediatric imaging department and provide coverage for inpatient, ED, and NICU as needed.
• Manage data capture and upload related data (Holter and blood pressure device results) into the patient’s chart and ensure timely documentation.
• Apply imaging protocols, optimize images, and communicate findings to the cardiology team; document results in EPIC Hyperspace Cadence Scheduling.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and privacy standards; maintain equipment and verify calibration and cleaning per policy.
