Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist – Echo Tech for a 22-week travel contract in Boston, MA. The role focuses on outpatient pediatric echocardiography with occasional inpatient/ED/NICU coverage, performing transthoracic and fetal exams and coordinating with pediatric cardiology.

Responsibilities include operating the echocardiography system, documenting findings in EPIC Hyperspace with Cadence Scheduling, and maintaining equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort across

Qualifications

• ARDMS RDCS-PE certification is required and BLS must be current.
• 2+ years of pediatric echocardiography experience; ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in pediatric echocardiography with fetal echocardiography experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC Hyperspace/Cadence Scheduling is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiography examinations, including transthoracic and fetal echocardiography as needed, ensuring high-quality images and proper documentation.
• Independently operate echocardiography equipment and related imaging systems; upload Holter and blood pressure device data as required.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensure safety and comfort, and coordinate with the pediatric cardiology team for appropriate exam protocols.
• Document imaging findings accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC Hyperspace with Cadence Scheduling) and manage image labeling and archiving.
• Maintain equipment, adhere to infection control standards, and support a smooth patient flow with an average of about 10 patients per shift.
