Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Pediatric Echo Tech for a 13-week contract in North Charleston, SC. The role focuses on pediatric echocardiography, including complex congenital heart defects, and uses GE ultrasound equipment.

You will perform echocardiograms, enter full reports into the PACS system, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to diagnose and treat patients.

Required: minimum 2 years in pediatric echo, ARDMS PE or CCI RCCS, BLS; fetal echo proficiency is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Echo Tech.
• Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification or CCI with RCCS certification required at start.
• Proficient in scanning pediatric echocardiograms and knowledge of complex heart defects.
• BLS certification required.
• Fetal echocardiogram proficiency highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms with focus on complex congenital heart diseases.
• Document and enter full reports into the PACS system.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients effectively.
• Maintain proficiency in operating GE ultrasound equipment and adhering to protocols.
