Job summary

Soliant Health in Charleston, SC seeks an experienced Echo Tech to perform a full range of echocardiographic studies and support patient care in a contract position.

You will operate ultrasound equipment, manage PACS/EMR workflows, and communicate findings clearly to the care team, contributing to high-quality cardiac imaging and patient comfort in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Registered or registry-eligible Echo Tech.
• Strong background in cardiac imaging (M-mode, 2D, Doppler, color flow).
• Experience operating ultrasound equipment with PACS/EMR familiarity.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and imaging protocols.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Attention to detail and high clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of echocardiographic exams per physician orders and protocols.

Job description

An opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in Imaging—specifically Echo technology. This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality echocardiographic studies and assisting healthcare teams in patient diagnosis and care.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Registered or registry-eligible Echo Tech (ARDMS, CCI, or equivalent)
• Strong background in cardiac imaging, including M-mode, 2D, Doppler, color flow, stress, and contrast echocardiography
• Proven expertise in operating ultrasound equipment and associated PACS and EMR systems
• In-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy, pathology, and imaging protocols
• Current BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to high clinical standards

Key Responsibilities:
