Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. in New York is seeking a pediatric physical therapist to provide Early Intervention services in home or center settings. You will perform evaluations, track child progress, and deliver PT as mandated by the IFSP.

Collaboration with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals will support each child’s goals, and you will complete documentation and progress notes to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unencumbered Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a qualifying degree in Physical Therapy.
• DOH approval is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services to children in various Early Intervention settings, including home or center.
• Perform evaluations and assessments and track child progress.
• Deliver Physical Therapy services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support each child’s goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
• Assist with functional mobility and orientation safety directives, guidelines, and exercises.
