Job summary
Canopy Children's Solutions is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide evidence-based nutrition services for children and adolescents at the CARES Center and School Day program, guiding menu planning, nutrition assessments, and medication-nutrition management to support overall well-being.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics required (as of Jan 2024).
- Completion of ACEND-accredited program and supervised practice.
- Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
- Eligible for or holds Mississippi Dietitian Licensure (LD).
Responsibilities
- Perform nutritional assessments on youth admitted to the CARES Center.
- Advise Dietetic Manager on nutritional needs to ensure proper nutrition.
- Monitor medication–nutrition interactions for daily snacks and meals.
- Oversee monthly menu development to meet nutritional needs.
- Ensure timely delivery of meals and snacks aligned with youths’ needs.
- Assist in recipe creation to maintain macro- and micronutrient adequacy.
