Cook Children's Health Care System is looking for a Pediatric Dietitian to serve as an expert in medical nutrition therapy. This position involves providing nutrition intervention and education to patients aged birth to 18 years in an interdisciplinary environment.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, be a licensed dietitian in Texas, and possess CPR certification. Opportunities for additional hours are available, working primarily during daytime shifts.

The Pediatric Dietitian serves as an expert in current medical nutrition therapy and works as part of an interdisciplinary team within Cook Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) in Prosper. This position will act as a float to provide coverage during daytime hours Mon‑Fri to staff on vacation, leave, etc. Will work with patients (birth‑18 years old) to provide nutrition intervention and education based on the goals, preferences, learning barriers, and readiness of the patient, family/caregivers, and staff. Provides professional guidance to in‑outpatients, staff, outside agencies, students, and the community while maintaining patient confidentiality and honoring patient rights. Develops, verifies, and revises nutritional therapies to improve care and outcomes for patients and help CCMC achieve its goals and objectives.
This position will work daytime hours to provide coverage for staff on vacation, leave, etc. Normally 1 or more 8‑hour shifts per week. Hours will be Mon‑Fri First shift. Opportunity to work more hours if interested.
