Job summary

Advocate Health in Oak Lawn is seeking a qualified nurse for the Pediatrics: Child Development team. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with days Mon-Fri and one admin day.

The position offers substantial patient care responsibilities in a pediatric setting and requires licensure as an RN and APRN with a Master’s in Nursing. Responsibilities include assessing patients, directing treatment plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality, compliant care and accurate

Qualifications

• Active RN and APRN license in state practice.
• Active national board certification in area of clinical practice.
• DEA registration prior to hire.
• Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire (if Illinois practice).
• BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and manages treatment plans appropriate for patient age and condition.
• Collaborates with physicians and care team; coordinates referrals as needed.
• Provides health promotion and disease prevention counseling for patients and families.
