Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking a physician with senior academic credentials to advance clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity within the DDBP department. The role includes leadership in clinical services, program development, and resident supervision at the MOB - 3430 Burnet location.

The ideal candidate holds an MD/DO or equivalent, Ohio license, and board certification, with substantial experience at the assistant professor level or higher.

Qualifications

• M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree.
• Current active medical license issued by the State of Ohio or eligible for license.
• Appropriate medical credentialing through the Medical Staff Services offices.
• Completion of all required pre-employment activities.
• Associate Professor appointment or eligibility or Assistant Professor appointment or eligibility.
• Generally, requires a minimum of five years of service at the Assistant Professor rank.
• Board certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective patient care with clinical expertise and leadership.
• Teach and supervise residents, fellows and medical students; participate in curriculum.
• Participate in program development and service/administration activities.
• Engage in scholarly activity including clinical research and publishing.
