Job summary

Contentnea Health is a community health center in eastern North Carolina seeking a dentist to provide comprehensive dental services. You will diagnose, treat, and manage patient care, including creating treatment plans and documenting in the EHR with precision.

The role emphasizes quality metrics, supervision of AE​GD residents, credentialing work, and collaboration with the clinical team. NC licensure and DEA are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental School with a Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
• Current NC licensure in good standing with the Board of Dental Examiners.
• Current DEA licensure and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides dental diagnostic and treatment services to patients.
• Performs dental examinations and creates treatment plans.
• Maintains accurate dental patient records in EHR and completes documentation within timelines.
• Refers patients to external/specialty care as needed.
• Participates in QA projects and supervises AE​GD residents as required.
