Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our team at Wellesley Dental Group in Wellesley, MA, just outside Boston. You’ll provide high-quality pediatric care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with integrated orthodontics and periodontics.

We offer a flexible, part-time schedule with a long-term career track, strong patient base, and state-of-the-art equipment. Applicants must hold a DMD or DDS and be board eligible or certified in pediatric dentistry.

Qualifications

• Pediatric dentistry specialization is required.
• Board eligibility or board certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.
