Job summary

42 North Dental in Massachusetts is seeking a pediatric dentist to join our multi-specialty practice near Boston on a part-time basis. The role focuses on comprehensive pediatric care, prevention, restorative and cosmetic dentistry for young patients.

The candidate will promote oral health, diagnose conditions, educate families, and create individualized care plans while collaborating with a supportive team. Infinity earning potential and a per diem rate are offered.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics in the office.

Education
