Job summary

Empower Dental Group is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care for children from infancy through adolescence at our Upland, California location. The role emphasizes a gentle chairside manner, education of families, and collaborative teamwork to deliver high-quality pediatric dental services.

The ideal candidate holds a DDS or DMD, pediatric dentistry residency, and active California license, with CPR/BLS and DEA credentials.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Completed a pediatric dentistry residency
• Current state dental license
• CPR and BLS certifications
• DEA certification and related credentials

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients
• Diagnose and treat pediatric dental problems including root canals and extractions
• Perform X-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic services for children
• Educate children and families on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Collaborate with a team of dental specialists as needed
• Supervise staff and maintain accurate patient records
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure high standards of care

As a Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to children, from infancy through adolescence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a gentle chairside manner, and the ability to educate both patients and their families about oral health.

Schedule: 1-2 days per week (days and hours are flexible).

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Current state license
• CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications
• Previous experience in clinical or private practice
• Completed a pediatric dentistry residency.
• Valid California dental license and DEA certification.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children and their families.

• Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends

• Supervise staff
• Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and use of orthodontics and dental appliances
• Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines
• Provide high-quality dental care to pediatric patients, including routine checkups, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and preventive care.
• Work with a team of friendly, dedicated professionals to ensure the comfort and well-being of every patient.
• Educate children and their parents on the importance of good oral hygiene and healthy dental habits.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
