Qualifications

• California Dental License, NPI number, and DEA registrations; completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency.
• Current CPR (BLS) certifications; ACLS preferred.
• Two or more years of community clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine infants, children, and adolescents; diagnose oral conditions; supervise required treatments.
• Record patient-dentist transactions accurately in the dental record.
• Educate patients and families on pediatric oral health and disease prevention.
• Coordinate with the Dental Director and other services to implement pediatric dentistry programs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations governing dentistry, safety, public health, and confidentiality.
• Provide continuing education and orientation for center staff.
