Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist, or a general dentist open to treating children, to join our team. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services with a modern, state-of-the-art facility and a dedicated patient base.

Per diem opportunities range from 1,000 to 1,200 USD and offer a flexible schedule with Easy-to-find location and integrated services.

Qualifications

Must hold a DMD or DDS from a CODA-accredited program.
Board eligibility or certification in pediatric dentistry.
Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
Documented Hepatitis B vaccination.
Proof of malpractice insurance.
BLS or CPR certification currently valid.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention.
Diagnose oral diseases.
Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
Review treatment plan options with patients.
Review, maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
Maintain ethical standards and professionalism in the dental office.
Keep up with new developments, technologies, and best practices through continuing education.
