Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist or a general dentist treating children to join our team. The practice offers general, pediatric, orthodontic and periodontic services with modern facilities and a dedicated patient base.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Board eligibility or certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B documented.
• Malpractice insurance proof.
• BLS/CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain highest standard of ethics and professionalism in the office
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, and continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
