Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental in Michigan is seeking a full-time pediatric dentist, or a general dentist open to treating children, to join our team in our Saginaw office. We provide General, Pediatric, Orthodontic, and Periodontic services.

The right candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to excellence in patient care. Part-time or Full-Time schedule offered with flexible days based on provider's interest and availability.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patient records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high ethics and professionalism within the dental office.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
