Job summary

42 North Dental in Wellesley, MA is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our multi-specialty practice just outside Boston. You will deliver preventive, restorative, and cosmetic care to children, with a focus on long-term relationships and patient comfort in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

The role features a daily rate of $1,000-$1,200 per diem with uncapped earning potential based on collections, flexible days, state-of-the-art equipment, and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics in the office.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
