Job summary

Wellesley Dental Group, part of 42North Dental, is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our team in Wellesley, MA. We deliver comprehensive pediatric dentistry in a multi-specialty practice and value patient-centered care.

You will diagnose and treat pediatric patients, create treatment plans, and collaborate with a supportive team in a convenient Boston-area location with flexible days and a per-diem compensation model.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or certification in pediatric dentistry is required or anticipated.
• Active state dental license is required to practice.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B must be documented.
• Malpractice insurance proof is required.
• BLS or CPR certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans with patients.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Engage in ongoing continuing education and professional development.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
