Job summary

42 North Dental in Wellesley, MA is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our team. We offer integrated orthodontics/periodontics within a full-service multi-specialty practice, with a flexible schedule and a supportive environment designed for a long-term career.

This role provides a daily rate of $1,000-$1,200 with uncapped earnings based on collections, and opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and professionalism.

Education

DMD or DDS

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Malpractice insurance

Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification
