Job summary

42 North Dental in the Boston area is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to join the Wellesley Dental Group team on a part-time basis. The role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care within a multi-specialty practice just outside Boston, with a dedicated patient base and state-of-the-art facilities.

The position offers a flexible schedule, integrated orthodontics and periodontics, and a per diem of $1,000–$1,200 with uncapped earnings through collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients' oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics in the office.
