Job summary

42 North Dental in Wellesley, MA just outside Boston, is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our multi-specialty practice known for delivering exceptional patient care. The role offers a supportive team environment and a long-term career track for the right professional.

We provide a per diem of $1,000–$1,200 with uncapped earning potential through a percentage of collections, plus state-of-the-art equipment and integrated orthodontics and periodontics within the practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B confirmed.
• Evidence of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and monitor growth of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high quality and ethical standards in care.
• Keep up with new developments via continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
