Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited dental school (DDS/DMD).
• Completion of CODA-accredited pediatric dental residency.
• Experience supervising residents and providing clinical teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care in a community health setting.
• Supervise and provide clinical oversight to 6 pediatric dental residents.
• Deliver direct patient care and clinical teaching in clinic and hospital operating room settings.
• Collaborate with NYU Langone Associate Director for consistent education and resident evaluation.
• Mentor residents in clinical education, research, and community service.
• Manage care for patients with special health care needs (SHCN).
• Participate in approximately 400 general anesthesia cases annually.
• Take after-hours calls weekly for consultations and emergencies.
• Work Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:15 PM.

Facility:This community health center is one of the Northwest's largest, serving over 40 clinics across 18 communities in Washington and Oregon since 1973. The Pediatric Dentistry Department operates two specialized clinic sites: a 9-chair outpatient clinic with in-office dental anesthesia services and a 6-chair clinic focusing on patients with special health care needs, providing 12,000-16,000 patient visits annually.
