Job Overview

We are seeking a full‑time faculty position in our Pediatric Dental Department. This role includes treating patients, providing clinical oversight and dental knowledge, and supporting six pediatric dental residents throughout their 2 years in the NYU Langone Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry Program. Responsibilities include supervising and providing direct patient care, clinical teaching in the clinic and hospital operating room, working closely with the NYU Langone Associate Director to ensure consistency in clinical education, evaluating residents, mentoring them in clinical education, research, and community service activities, and collaborating with management staff to identify solutions to local access to healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide direct patient care and clinical teaching in the clinic and hospital operating room.
• Work closely with the NYU Langone Associate Director to facilitate consistency in clinical education and evaluation.
• Mentor and supervise residents’ clinical education, research, and community service activities.
• Collaborate with management staff to identify solutions to local access to healthcare.
• Take after‑hours calls weekly to provide consultations and emergency care.

• $30,000 hiring bonus

• Clinic operational hours: Monday – Friday 7:45 AM – 5:15 PM
