i4 Dental Lab in Sparks, NV is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to care for young patients and guide their families toward healthier smiles. You will diagnose, treat, and educate children while collaborating with a tight-knit team.

Eligible candidates hold a DDS/DMD with a valid NV license; pediatric experience is a plus. You will mentor staff, stay current with pediatric techniques, and help build a compassionate, patient-centered practice.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Examining young patients and reviewing their medical histories to assess oral health.
• Diagnosing dental issues and creating pediatric treatment plans.
• Performing pediatric procedures such as fillings, extractions, crowns, sealants, and fluoride applications.
• Reading X-rays and other diagnostics to guide treatment decisions.
• Educating children and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Prescribing medications as needed and following regulations.
• Referring patients to specialists when necessary.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring privacy compliance.
• Upholding sterilization and infection control standards across the office.
• Collaborating with hygienists, assistants, and front-office staff.

What You'll Be Doing

• Reading X-rays and other diagnostic tests to guide your treatment decisions
• Helping kids (and their parents!) understand the importance of oral hygiene and preventive care in a way that's easy to grasp
• Prescribing medications when needed, following all applicable regulations
• Referring patients to specialists for advanced or specialized care when necessary
• Keeping accurate, up-to-date patient records in line with privacy and regulatory standards
• Following proper sterilization and infection control practices throughout the office
• Working closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and front-office staff to keep things running smoothly
• Jumping into mentorship opportunities and ongoing learning to keep growing your skills
• Staying in the loop on new techniques, materials, and technology in pediatric dentistry

What We're Looking For

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Active, valid dental license in good standing as required by the state of practice
• Experience or specialized training in pediatric dentistry is a plus
