Job Title: Part-Time Pediatric Dentist

Location: 1236 FM 407 Suite 100, Northlake, TX 76226

Position Type: Part-Time (2 days per week)

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to children from infancy through adolescence, ensuring a positive and educational experience that promotes lifelong oral health. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
  2. Provide preventive, therapeutic, and restorative dental care, including cleanings, sealants, fillings, and extractions.
  3. Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
  4. Manage dental emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  6. Collaborate with orthodontic specialists to coordinate comprehensive care plans when necessary.
  7. Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

  1. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  2. Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program.
  3. Board certification or eligibility in pediatric dentistry.
  4. Valid Texas state dental license.
  5. Current CPR and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with children and their families.
  7. Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
