Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, based in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join a pediatric-focused ASC team. You will support dental procedures performed under general anesthesia, scrub for cases, handle x-rays, and help manage patient flow.

The ideal candidate has completed a CODA-accredited Dental Assistant program, holds a current RDA license, and possesses a valid BLS certificate. This role includes front desk duties and coordination with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an Accredited Dental Assistant Program.
• Current state license to practice as a Registered Dental Assistant.
• One year of RDA experience.
• Current BLS Certificate.
• Background and Drug Screening Required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and anticipate needs of the dentist and anesthesia provider with instruments and supplies per technique, procedure and requirements.
• Prepare for dental surgical cases by selecting supplies and equipment and maintaining inventory.
• Scrub for surgical procedures; assist with instrument cleanup and sterility.
• Take and check X-ray equipment; ensure proper operation and safety.
• Stock and clean rooms between cases and at schedule end; assist with turnover of the OR.
• Front desk duties and patient service coordination are part of this role.
