Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a Dental Resident PL1 in Milwaukee to advance pediatric dental care through clinical service, didactic learning, and teaching. The role includes rotating through the pediatric residency curriculum, inpatient consultations, and participation in on-call emergency coverage.

The program emphasizes working with diverse pediatric populations, completing the required exams (NDBE), and maintaining BLS/PALS certifications while collaborating with Marquette University

Qualifications

• Graduate from dental school with a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree.
• Completion of National Dental Board examinations required.
• BLS and PALS certifications required for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Carries out clinical, didactic and teaching duties per residency program.
• Provides dental services to pediatric patients at CHW Dental Center locations.
• Participates in clinical rotation assignments per the residency curriculum.
• Provides inpatient consultations and care as requested by medical colleagues.
• Assists with after-hours emergency care on an on-call basis.
• Supervises and delivers complex dental care for very young or special needs patients under supervision.
