Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of previous Pediatric Dental experience required.
• Current CPR Certificate required.
• Ability to administer local anesthetic agents required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver positive clinical experience while adhering to policies and regulations.
• Clean teeth and gums, and examine for indications of oral cancer.
• Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe doctor notes accurately.

We’re seeking a Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our growing team.

How you’ll make us better:

Responsible for delivering positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well state dental laws, rules and regulations under the direction and supervision of a Dentist.

• Establish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring that the Ultimate Patient Experience is delivered to every patient
• Clean accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains from teeth and gums
• Examine for indications of oral cancer
• Reviewing a patient’s dental and medical history
• Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe the doctor notes accurately
• Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health
• Applying fluoride treatments
• Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases
• Sterilizing and preparing dental instruments
