Smile Doctors in New Jersey seeks a Pediatric Dental Hygienist to deliver high-quality preventive care under the supervision of a Dentist. You will screen patients, execute cleanings, apply fluoride, take x-rays, and help maintain accurate charts while educating families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• State Hygiene License required.
• Current CPR Certificate required.
• Current Hepatitis B vaccination required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver positive clinical experience while following company policies and state dental laws.
• Screen patients during checkups and maintain patient charts.
• Perform preventive dental care, apply fluoride, and take/review x-rays.
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and assist with patient education.

We’re seeking a Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our growing team at Thrive Orthodontics.

How you’ll make us better:

Responsible for delivering positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well state dental laws, rules and regulations under the direction and supervision of a Dentist.

• Establish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring that the Ultimate Patient Experience is delivered to every patient
• Screening patients during checkups
• Clean accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains from teeth and gums
• Examine for indications of oral cancer
• Reviewing a patient’s dental and medical history
• Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe the doctor notes accurately
• Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health
• Performing preventive dental care
• Applying fluoride treatments
• Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases
• Sterilizing and preparing dental instruments
