Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic Pediatric Hygienist to join our team. Recent dental hygiene graduates and experienced providers are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including cleanings, scaling and root planing, fluoride, and sealants
• Perform oral cancer screenings and periodontal assessments
• Evaluate patient oral health and tailor hygiene treatments accordingly
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-treatment care
• Document medical and dental histories, vital signs, and treatments accurately
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Capture diagnostic x-rays as needed in line with ADA guidelines

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills with a warm, empathetic approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adhere to clinical protocols and policies
• Associate’s degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Active RDH license in Connecticut
• Professional Liability Insurance
• Basic Life Support Certification (or willingness to obtain)
