Job summary

Timber Kids Dentistry in Medford, Oregon is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant for pediatric dentistry and sterilization duties to support doctors, greet families, and help create a positive visit for every patient.

The role requires an active dental assistant license or registration, at least 6 months of experience, and completion of a CODA-accredited program (preferred). Excellent communication, integrity, confidentiality, and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by state.
• 6+ months of experience as a dental assistant.
• CODA accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
• Strong problem solving skills and quick learner.
• Integrity, professionalism and confidentiality in patient care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organized and dentistry terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients and families before, during, and after appointments.
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos.
• Prepare and sterilize the treatment room and equipment.
• Document dental care services by charting patient records.
• Maintain sterilization protocols and a clean, compliant working environment.
